PSP Versus The Nintendo DS

...ust as good as the PSP. However, if you are looking for a hand held game with really good sports games, the DS is not the game of choice. For some reason the regular sports game titles seem to play differently than on the PSP. The DS seems to be geared more for little kids and not so much for the older gamers. Some of the best games for the DS are the Mario games. The most played game on the DS in my household is Mario cart. This game never loses its playability, no matter what system it is on.

The Sony PSP is a really cool hand held game, which is suited much more for the older gamers. The PSP has comparable graphics and game play, except for sports games. PSP has really excelled when it come to the sports genre. The graphics ...more

... baby Luigi gets the chain chomp, and Bowser gets the bowser shell, etc. When deciding your characters and your carts at the beginning of the game this is something to take into consideration.

The choice of characters and all of their special items really make this game fun to play. The voice overs for the characters are also very amusing even though there is a limited variety. The game is very repetitive and for some people may only keep them interested until they beat the levels and unlock all of the items. This game is geared more toward group play rather than solitary play which is why you can play with up to four players. The split screen can be distracting and may give some people a bit of a headache, but it is a good way to involve everyone, as long as there is no more than four in that group of everyone.

The racing levels come with sixteen different tracks plus the mirror image of all those same sixteen; that adds up to a combined number of thirty-two. That is a lot to choose from. Some of these tracks are all too familiar with the SNES tracks and the other Mario Kart games, but the others are very creative. You ...more

...l mega Man titles 1 to 6 games. Every thing about the original mega Man games is just awesome, the levels, the bosses and power ups are brilliant. mega Man is still just as challenging as any game out today.

Sure the nes can't boast about great graphics, and the music gets on your nerves after a while, but some times the simplest games are the best ones.

...the game different ways using warp portals. So you can skip certain worlds and go strait to a new one. This doesn't mean that you will miss out on the levels because you will want to return to the worlds to get more stars. A total of 3 stars hidden on each level which unlock bonus items and mini games.

The controls of the game are similar to that of the SNES or the old game boy games, but the touch screen comes into play sometimes as this is where you can have up to 3 power ups stored, such as the mushrooms, flower power or star. So when you feel the need to power up you just touch one of the 3D symbols on the bottom screen.
